This month, our country has called the Council to meet on 36 occasions (including three high-level open debates on Women, Peace and Security, the Middle East and Working Methods) and has adopted five resolutions: on Women, Peace and Security; on Libya and the trafficking of migrants, aimed at stemming the flow of migrants in the Mediterranean; sanctions on Somalia and Eritrea; and two resolutions renewing United Nations peacekeeping missions in South Sudan and in Haiti.
